| Description |
English: Field End This fine timber-framed house stands on the Two Mile Ash Road near Christ's Hospital School, and is near the centre of this grid square. Originally a single dwelling named Sluts, in the late 19th Century it was divided into two or more units under the name of Sluts Cottages. In the last century, however, the building has been made into a single dwelling once more and undergone a (quite understandable) change of name to become the rather unimaginative, but less embarrassing, Field End. |
