Description
Français : Maison de l'Election, épi de toiture. Dessin par Charles Fichot, dans Charles Fichot, Statistique monumentale du département de l'Aube, t. 3, 1889, p. 83. Cet épi couronnait une tourelle démolie par un incendie en 1903. Il a échappé à la destruction et se trouve depuis dans la cour du musée Saint-Loup.

Sur sa face fuyante à l'est, est la tourelle carrée de l'escalier, surmontée d'une toiture aiguë. Au-dessus se dresse un bel épi en plomb coulé et repoussé au marteau, ou tordu à la main, figurant des dauphins, des vases, des fleurs et des flammes, et formant une heureuse silhouette qui se détache avec délicatesse sur le ciel.
