English: Fforest Tywi sign, by Llyn Brianne, Ceredigion The Tywi Forest is a vast tract of coniferous plantation established in the 1960s over what had been chiefly open moorland with scattered abandoned post-Medieval settlements and Bronze Age monuments. The forest is already being extensively felled. In this area spruce and larch trees predominate. |
