Die Feuerwehrkapelle liegt südseitig am Fuß des Kalvarienbergs, Kufstein, beim Treppenaufgang. Die Kapelle wurde wohl gegen Ende des 17. oder im frühen 18. Jahrhundert erbaut und dient heute als Denkmal für gefallene Feuerwehr-Kameraden beider Weltkriege. Die Kapelle hat ein steiles Satteldach über einem kräftig profilierten Gesims, sie ist giebelseitig durch einen hohen Rundbogen mit schmiedeeiserner Gittertüre geöffnet. Das Giebelfeld ist mit Stuckdekor geschmückt, Festonkartusche mit Puttokopf, in den charakteristischen Formen des späten 17. Jahrhunderts, darin aufgemalt das Feuerwehrzeichen. |
