| Description |
English: Fertile fenland north of West Head. The huge grain silos at Manor Farm > 1390197 can be seen in the background. Distances can be very deceiving in the flat fenland: on walking towards an object one soon discovers that what appears to be fairly close is actually quite some distance away. It is about one mile from here to Manor Farm, as the crow flies. This view was taken from a farm track that zig-zags around fields in the fenland north of Hill Farm and is shared by several farmers. This grid square contains not a single building, not even a small shed. |
