Summary[edit]

Description
English: Example of faster shingle failure along a roof eave where more water is channeled and which accelerates the washing away of the asphalt saturating the paper fiber of the shingles. As the asphalt is lost the paper begins to visibly shrink and contract as seen in the foreground.
