Summary[edit]

Description
English: Farmland on Woodmancott Down, Hampshire, England. I was intrigued by the orange tractor wheel marks. This colour is normally produced by spraying a herbicide (as when farmers mark the line of a footpath) but it seems unlikely there would be herbicide on the tractor's wheels. – "Spraying out" the 'tramlines' (which are later used e.g. by crop sprayers) with herbicides is a technique used after sowing when there is no possibility to automatically block the relevant outlet spouts of the seed drill.
