| Description |
English: Farewell to the Six Road Ends. The Six Road Ends, while not especially busy, is a tricky spot for anyone not going straight through from Donaghadee to Newtownards. From left (going clockwise) are the roads to Conlig, Bangor, Groomsport, Donaghadee, Carrowdore and (at my right elbow) Newtownards. It might seem a sensible place for a roundabout for all six roads but the engineers think not. Instead there will a roundabout for four. The photograph was taken on 5 August 2006 with work due to start a few days later. |
