Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A High Output Ballast Cleaner has been prepared in Fairwater Yard, Taunton, ready for work tonight on Wellington Bank. The length of the train varies depending on the track to be cleaned and the state of the balaast there. This is a particulalry long one with 15 hoppers on the right loaded with clean ballast and 15 empty hoppers on the left ready to receive dirty ballast for recycling. Indeed, the train has been assembled on one of the sidings today as it is too long to fit on the usual departure road. The motive power will be provided by a pair of Freightliner 66s, 66507 at this end and and 66587 more than a quarter of a mile away near Silk Mills bridge.
