English: Cargotecture is the construction of habitats using the maritime transport container as a constructive element.
This construction method provides economic advantages in time and cost, offers a young and innovative aesthetic, and contributes positively to sustainability since it allows materials to be recycled, reduced and reused. In addition, in the works that are considered to use the charge, it saves 40% less water and reduces the carbon footprint. The ability to withstand the impact of hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes make them optimal for use in humanitarian projects, shelters and community centers but their versatility has also captured the imagination of designers and architects around the world who are using them for any project, from skyscrapers to second homes.
