Description
English: The Batu Caves are a series of caves among limestone hills in the district of Gombak, to the north of Kuala Lumpur.

one of the largest and most popular Hindu shrines in the world outside of India. Originally built from wood in 1920, the 272 stairs were later replaced with concrete ones to better handle the heavy foot traffic.

Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.
