| Description |
Deutsch: Frankfurter Grüngürtel: Infostele zu der von Robert Gernhardt entworfenen Sympathiefigur GrünGürtel-Tier. Standort der Stele sind die Gernhardt-Eschen an der Wörthspitze in Frankfurt-Nied, nahe der Mündung des Flusses Nidda in den Main. Aufschrift der Stele: „GrünGürtel Frankfurt – Das GrünGürtel-Tier. Dieses einzigartige und merkwürdige Wesen hält sich mit Vorliebe in den Auen, Wiesen, Feldern, Gärten und Wäldern des Frankfurter GrünGürtels auf. Mit etwas Glück ist das muntere Tierchen ab und zu hier unter den Eschen zu beobachten. Robert Gernhardt (1937–2006), Karikaturist und Schriftsteller, lebte seit 1964 in Frankfurt am Main. Er konnte das GrünGürtel-Tier erstmals am 1. April 2002 hier beobachten und dabei sogar zeichnen. Als Andenken an das denkwürdige Ereignis wurden diese drei Eschen gepflanzt.“ |
