Description
Deutsch: Frankfurt am Main: Die Eschenheimer Anlage ist ein Teil der Frankfurter Wallanlagen. Dieser Ring um die Innenstadt aus Grünanlagen und Parks entstand zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts auf dem Gelände der zuvor geschleiften Frankfurter Stadtbefestigung. Der überwiegende Teil des Anlagenrings wurde vom Stadtgärtner Sebastian Rinz gestaltet. Eine Ausnahme ist der Tiefgarten in der Eschenheimer Anlage, entstanden auf einem zuvor privaten Grundstück. In seiner heutigen Form wurde dieser Ziergarten mit neobarocken Stil-Anleihen im Jahr 1982 angelegt und von der Stadt Frankfurt als „Bürgergarten“ neu eröffnet. Neben gärtnerischen und landschaftsarchitektonischen Elementen beherbergt der Tiefgarten in der Eschenheimer Anlage seit 2017 die permanente Klangkunst-Installation saasfee*soundpark.
