Uruguayan Air Force Lockheed C-130B Hercules (s/n 60-0295, FAU 592)

| Description |
Español: Lockheed C-130B Hercules, número de serie 60-0295, que por la Orden del Comando General de la Fuerza Aérea N.° 3.369 del 19 de agosto de 1992 fue matriculado como FAU 592 y asignado al Grupo de Aviación N.° 4 (Transporte) de la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya, con asiento en la Brigada Aérea I de Carrasco. En 1994 la aeronave pasó a formar parte del Escuadrón Aéreo N.° 3 (Transporte), y tras realizar misiones de transporte de pasajeros, autoridades, lanzamiento de paracaidistas, transporte de víveres en apoyo a países damnificados por desastres naturales, traslados de helicópteros de la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya en su interior, o vuelos en apoyo a la presencia antártica uruguaya, fue retirada de servicio a fines del año 2020, siendo reemplazada por aeronaves Lockheed KC-130H Hercules que la República Oriental del Uruguay le adquirió al Reino de España. |
