Summary[edit]

Description A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14B Tomcat (BuNo 161287) of Fighter Squadron VF-102 "Diamondbacks" and a McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C-24-MC Hornet (BuNo 163473) of Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-86 "Sidewinders" on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS America (CV-66). Both squadrons were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1) aboard the America for her last deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean from 28 August 1995 to 24 February 1996.
