F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighters have been deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. The Nighthawk is attached to the 8th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Wing, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. The aircraft shelter was destroyed during the Gulf War. |
