[Original ] [In English ] ———— Suivant l'exemple de Paul McCartney, John Lennon a commencé à utiliser l'Epiphone Casino à partir de la tournée de 1966. Il avait alors abandonné sa fidèle Rickenbacker pour un modèle de guitare au diapason plus long. Cette Epiphone a suivi John Lennon jusqu'à ses derniers jours. ———— Following the example of Paul McCartney, John Lennon started using the Epiphone Casino from the 1966 tour. He had then abandoned his trusty Rickenbacker for a model of guitar with a longer pitch. This Epiphone followed John Lennon until his last days. ———— La troisième guitare choisie par John Lennon est un modèle à caisse creuse de faible épaisseur. Ancien concurrent de Gibson, la firme Epiphone a été rachetée par celle-ci en 1957. Cette Casino a été rééditée en l'honneur de John Lennon. ———— The third guitar chosen by John Lennon is a thin hollow body model. Former competitor of Gibson, the firm Epiphone was bought by this one in 1957.
