Description
Français : Anthropomotion lll , sculpture d' Olivier Strebelle (1927-2017), sur la place du pavillon de la Belgique, Expo 67,Montréal, Québec, Canada. Il s'agit d'une sculpture animée, créée en 1966, en bronze poli, atteignant trois mètres de hauteur. Ses éléments mobiles, tous en courbes sensuelles, se déplacent grâce à un ingénieux mécanisme dissimulé, composé d'axes et d'engrenages, conçu par l'artiste polyvalent belge Francis André (1906-1972).
English: Anthropomotion lll , from the sculptor Olivier Strebelle (1927-2017), beside the Belgium Pavilion, Expo 67, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is a moving, three meters high, polished bronze sculpture, created in 1966. Its mobile elements, all sensually curved, are moved by an ingenious hidden mechanism composed of axels and gears, designed by the Belgian versatile artist Francis André (1906-1972).
