Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pictured are soldiers from C Sqn Light Dragoons taking part in Ex LEGION ATTACK, a dismounted exercise focused on infantry skills in the assault and raid back in July 2020, Poland during their deployment on OPERATION CABRIT, as part of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence.

As Light Cavalry soldiers, C Sqn need to be able to rapidly assault and destroy enemy objectives. This dismounted exercise taught and tested the skills required.

Around 140 soldiers from the Light Dragoons and attachments from other parts of the armed forces make up 'Legion Troop' - the reconnaissance asset of Battlegroup Poland. They are working alongside soldiers from the U.S, Romania, Croatia and Poland.

UK Armed Forces have a leading role in NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic States in order to enhance Euro-Atlantic security, reassure our allies and deter our adversaries.
