Description
Español: La Extracción minera en Zacualpan durante el virreinato requirió del uso de técnicas industriales para poder procesar el mineral que se extraía del interior de las minas, La hacienda de la Cadena es un complejo arquitectónico que destaca por las dimensiones de su estructura, una casona en donde se pueden apreciar varios apartamentos seguramente con funciones específicas, pero lo que verdaderamente distingue a un vestigio industrial minero es el molino de mazos que se accionaba a través de una caída de agua y que permitía que el mecanismo moliera el metal. Además de ser parte del patrimonio cultural e histórico, este lugar también resalta por su cercanía con la naturaleza, en medio del campo y a la orilla de un pequeño riachuelo, características que hacen de este un lugar muy agradable a los visitantes. La construcción de este complejo minero data del siglo XVIII.
