Inscriptions
Amoiries.

En dessous des caractères arabes النَّجَات فِي الصَّدْق (elnajât_ fî elSadq_) « Le salut est dans la sincérité ».
[Heraldry. The Coat of Arms includes an island and its tower, a crescent and a star, a sort of Rod of Asclepius with a trident and a lobster. The supports consist of two griffins. This is summed with an crown.
In place of the motto is an inscription in Latin Insulae Aureæ Proprio Motu (Augustus the First of his own will king of the Ile d'Or). In the middle of it is in Arabic characters in the Hegirian calendar ١٣٢۷ (1327) that is to say 1909, date of acquisition of the island.
Underneath is an island on which there is a tower. At the top of it floats a flag bearing a crescent and a star.
At the bottom they are two inscriptions. Arabic characters النَّجَات فِي الصَّدْق (elnajât_ fî elSadq_) " Salvation is in sincerity ".
This is supported by drawings: on the left an anchor (probably reminiscent of the sea) and on the right a mirror symbolizing clairvoyance. These two elements are surrounded by a snake which looks at itself in the mirror.Bottom, in Roman numerals the year of creation of the kingdom according to the Hegirian calendar: MCCCXXVIII (1910).]
