Description
Deutsch: Ein Methanol-Platin-Feuerzeug "Ewiges Streichholz", etwa aus den 1930er Jahren. Der wattierte Behälter wird mit Methanol befüllt, die entstehenden Dämpfe werden bei Benutzung durch den feinen Platindraht katalytisch entzündet. Zusammengesetzt misst das Feuerzeug etwa 5 x 3,2 x 1,2cm.
English: A methanol platinium lighter "Ewiges Streichholz" (eternal match) build in the 1930 years. The padded container gets filled with methanol, the metanol vapors are lit catalytically by a thin platinum wire. The lighter is 5 x 3.2 x 1.2cm in size.
