Summary[edit]
El Dios de la Peña (Pensive Christ) — seated Jesus mocked in the pretorium. Seated on a column on an andas, crown of thorns in the basketweave pattern, red cape, long white pants trimmed in lace, white shirt, cheek resting on left hand). The right hand is positioned as if to hold a scepter, but there is none. Wood, gesso, paint; glass eyes, lashes, wig; polyester garments; life size.
