Description
Français : Étiquette, écriture cursive alphabétique, langue araméenne. VIIe siècle avant J.-C. Syrie. L'étiquette traite d'une livraison d'orge avec mention de cinq témoins et de l'éponymat de Salmu-Sharri-iqbi, probablement en 623 avant J.-C. Deux cachets ont été apposés sur la tranche supérieure. AO 29698.
English: Label, alphabetic cursive script, Aramaic language. 7th century BC Syria. The label deals with a delivery of barley with mention of five witnesses and the eponym of Salmu-Sharri-iqbi, probably in 623 BC. Two stamps have been affixed on the upper edge.
