Printed on verso: No. 90 638. Publ. by Portland Post Card Co., Portland, Ore. and Seattle, Wash. (Made in Germany.) Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition: Seattle 1909.

Photographer Frank H. Nowell had a studio in Nome from 1900-1909. In 1909 he returned to Seattle and was the official photographer for the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition.
