Español: Un escudo que esté hecho dos quartos; que en el uno de ellos de la mano derecha esté un roble verde que le atraviese un lobo rojo en campo de plata, y en el otro quarto una torre de plata en campo oro e por orla ocho flores de lis de plata en campo colorado e un yelmo cerrado y devisa una águila negra con sus erascoles y dependencias a follajes de azul y oro. Archivo General de Indias,QUITO,20B,N.17 .Consultado, diseñado, descifrado y compartido por el historiador Jodison Javier García Alcívar.
