Description Escudo de la provincia de Sevilla, construido a la manera heráldica a partir del Manual de Identidad Corporativa sobre el escudo, de la Diputación de Sevilla (páginas 9 y 10): El Escudo de la Diputación Provincial de Sevilla se basa en el Escudo de la ciudad de Sevilla: las figuras de San Fernando, San Isidoro y San Leandro, enmarcadas en una arquitectura gótica, ocupan el primer cuartel; en la campaña, aparece el lema NO8DO. Al timbre, corona real abierta. Además, está rodeado de un collar formado de diez escudetes que representan a los municipios que fueron cabeza de partidos judiciales en la época de su creación (hacia 1927). Éstos , en sentido horario, son los siguientes: Carmona, Utrera, Cazalla de la Sierra, Lora del Río, Sanlúcar la Mayor, Estepa, Marchena, Morón de la Frontera, Osuna, Écija. Los esmaltes se fijan como sigue: En el cuerpo central, el fondo tras la arquitectura gótica será de color azul; la propia estructura arquitectónica será de color amarillo (oro); del mismo color será la corona del rey y el mundo que sostiene en la mano izquierda; la espada será de color plata (blanco). En cuanto a la vestimenta del rey, será roja la capa, sobre los hombros la capa es de armiño (blanco moteado en negro); blanca la túnica y dorada la pechera (que antes aparecía en blanco). El trono será de color oro (amarillo) y el respaldo será verde. El suelo, ajedrezado, en blanco y negro. San Isidoro: túnica roja bajo la cual hay un ropaje blanco;calzado blanco, báculo amarillo, libro blanco, mitra blanca por fuera y roja por dentro y estola amarilla, rostro y pelo de su color. Igual para San Leandro. En el extremo inferior del escudo los colores serán: amarillo (oro) la leyenda y verde el fondo. La bordadura de todo el cuerpo central será amarilla (oro). Acompaña el escudo un collar con escudetes representativos de los antiguos partidos judiciales (descritos en la página 11). Del escudete nº 10 (Écija) se ha interpetado el sobre campo de plata, un escudete de azur ... por una campo de azur y bordura de plata, acorde al diseño institucional del escudo y el blasón tradicional de Écija.
