Español: La Universidad SIMÓN BOLÍVAR nace comprometida con el Ideario Bolivariano, y por eso la rúbrica del Libertador es la principal pieza emblemática de su heráldica. Se trata de caracteres extraídos de su firma en letras verdes, que representa la adhesión a una idea y un símbolo de Simón Bolívar. El Escudo suele presidir el frontispicio de los edificios institucionales y la comunidad universitaria en general acostumbrada a portarlo. Exhibe el verde, nuestro color emblemático, inspirado en las gestas Libertadoras del Padre de la Patria, General Simón Bolívar y en la fertilidad de nuestros campos, base del desarrollo productivo de los países de Latinoamérica, convocados a la unidad hemisférica por Bolívar, en su Carta de Jamaica. |
