Español: Escudo del municipio de Yarumal, Antioquia. Colombia:
Su forma es acorazonada y está dividida en dos campos: El superior, que ocupa una sexta parte, conserva de izquierda a derecha los colores de la primera bandera de Yarumal: rojo, blanco y verde, con una estrella dorada en la mitad. El campo inferior se divide diagonalmente en dos cuarteles: el inferior que representa las montañas antioqueñas, y el superior que contiene un horizonte en el que despunta el sol naciente. Desde el vértice de la estructura acorazonada surge un yarumo plateado que se levanta altivo sobre el campo inferior representando la especie vegetal de la que deriva el nombre de nuestro pueblo.[1]
