Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de San Alberto (Cesar). "Interpretación del escudo. Como su historia lo narra, este representa los grandes elementos productos de nuestra región, este escudo se encuentra enmarcado por dos colores, el AZUL, que significa la esperanza, el progreso y sueños de los forasteros que llegaron a fundar este bello Municipio, el AMARILLO nos muestra la riqueza de sus tierras y de la gente que lo habitan. En la cabeza de distingue la fecha de Fundación del Municipio acompañado en su parte inferior de una estrella que determina la esperanza e ilusión de cambio y desarrollo para la región y sus pobladores. Se divide en tres franjas, la parte superior se encuentra fraccionada en dos componentes, a su lado izquierdo, encontramos la ganadería, acompañada de la Paz y Progreso para los Sanalbertences, al lado derecho están los cultivos de Algodón, el maíz, el trigo y el trabajo en sus campos frondosos de oportunidades para los hombres que habitan estas tierras. La parte inferior del escudo nos simboliza el producto principal de nuestra prosperidad y despliegue, como lo es el cultivo de palma africana, que esta rodeada de dos cuernos que derraman a su lado izquierdo el oro, riqueza y abundancia de sus tierras, y al lado derecho los frutos que estas tierras fructíferas nos regalan, diversidad de alimentos y bienestar personal para el pueblo Sanalbertence."
