Description
Català: Escudella tipus "Hemmoor" i bol amb broc i coberta parcial, s. II - III dC, Museu Històric del Palatinat (Speyer). Exposició El Tresor dels Bàrbars, Museu Arqueològic d'Alacant. Les escudelles de tipus "Hemmor", així anomenades pel primer lloc on es va descobrir, formaven part de la vaixella per beure. Estaven especialment difosos a les províncies occidentals de l'Imperi Romà i també entre els germànics, que els apreciaven. El fris que adorna el contorn de l'escudella es compon de quatre escenes de caça, cadascuna separada de les altres per una màscara. Els bols amb coberta parcial s'utilitzaven a la taula romana per preparar el vi. El pitó està proveït d'un colador que servia per retenir les espècies afegides a la barreja. La semitapa del bol de Neupotz està adornada amb un fris de màscares.
