Description
Español: Ermita de Santa Bárbara de Valdealgorfa (Teruel): La ermita de Santa Bárbara de Valdealgorfa está situada sobre un alto cabezo de monte, desde donde se contempla una bella panorámica del término municipal. La construcción actual fue acordada en 1686 con los canteros Juan Francisco Aguilar y Raimundo Calvo, y concluyó en 1689. En 1875, con motivo de la instalación de una línea óptico-telegráfica desde Zaragoza a Morella, se instaló en esta ermita un torreón que cerraba su atrio original. Se fortificó con aspilleras y se abrió un foso que la circundaba. Estos añadidos fueron eliminados en una nueva reforma realizada en 1972 a la vez que se construyó un pórtico nuevo de ladrillo. En la actualidad, la Asociación de Amigos de la Ermita se cuida de mejorar y embellecer el entorno de este edificio.
