Description
Deutsch: Die Regnitzbrücke in Erlangen-Bruck war einst die einzige Flussquerung zwischen Baiersdorf und Vach. Durch die verkehrsgünstige Lage entwickelte sich der nach dem Bauwerk benannte Ort zu einem blühenden Dorf. Der 1945 gesprengte Vorgängerbau von 1775 wurde durch diesen 1953 fertiggestellten Neubau ersetzt. Am östlichen Widerlager ist ein Stein eingemauert, der von einer Reparatur der Brücke im Jahr 1736 stammt. Auf dem Stein befinden sich das Brandenburgische Adlerwappen mit Markgrafenhut sowie die Initialen FMZBB (= Friedrich Markgraf zu Brandenburg-Bayreuth).
