Deutsch: Text auf dem Stein: Hier stand der Kuhturm zu Lindenau. Einst Vorwerk der „Burg Lipzi“, ab 1531 Sitz des Ratsoberförsters. Friedrich Kind fand hier die Anregung zum Text des „Freischütz“. Im Oktober 1813 wurde das Gelände schwer umkämpft. Später Lehranstalt der Universität und Ausflugslokal. Im Januar 1939 erfolgte die Sprengung. AG Völkerschlacht Leipzig-Lindenau |
