Description
Deutsch: Die Aufnahme zeigt den Effekt der Erdkrümmung am Bodensee. Standort war das Fahrzeugdeck der Bodenseefähre Fritz Arnold bei der Einfahrt in den Fährhafen Meersburg. Im Hintergrund ist in 21 km Entfernung Bodman-Ludwigshafen zu sehen. Die unteren ufernahen Partien dort sind hinter der Erdkrümmung versteckt. Von weiter entfernten Segelbooten ist der Rumpf unsichtbar. In Horizontnähe sind auf dem Wasser Luftspiegelungen zu erkennen. Die Aufnahme entstand mit einem Telobjektiv von 300 mm Brennweite an einer Kamera mit Cropfaktor 1,5. Sie ist nicht verkleinert, sondern beschnitten. Die Größe des Originalbildes war 3872 x 2592 Pixel. Es wurde ein Polfilter verwendet, der die Sichtbarkeit des Dunstes reduziert, aber die Auflösung leicht beeinträchtigt.
