Summary[edit]

Description
English: The relationship between Energy (E), Mass (m) and Momentum (p) of a body according to Einstein's Theory of Relativity illustrated in a Pythagorean format (where 'c' is the Speed of Light). This clearly shows how the popular equation, , is the special case of being in the same reference frame as the body so that its momentum, hence its velocity, can be ignored (trinity can be reduced to a duality).

This physics image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Energy-Mass-Momentum Pythagorean Relationship.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
