Description
English: 1 rigsbankdaler banknote issued by Rigsbanken in Copenhagen in 1813. The Danish monetary system collapsed in 1813 and this was one of the first banknotes in a new series launched by the Danish state through the new Rigsbank. References: Sieg 65, DOP 58, Pick A48. The banknote (no. 4??856) was sold at Bruun Rasmussen Auctions on May 30, 2006 for DKK 1,200 (EUR 162). Lot 758/4426.
