Print intended to arouse citizen resistance during the Siege of Paris, 1870-1871. Shows a female figure (Liberty?) carrying a sword standing between two shields. One shield has the motto "Nʹoublie pas 1870, travaille attends." The other bears 9 symbols identified below the image, including a balloon which carried news of Paris beyond the city. (Source: A.G.
