Español: México D.F., 24 de febrero de 2012 - El Embajador Anthony Wayne se reunió con representantes de Save the Children México en sus oficinas en la Embajada. Este grupo se enfoca en crear cambios positivos y duraderos en la calidad de vida de familias marginadas a través de la participación activa de niños, niñas y adolescentes en su propia formación educativa. Michael Klosson (Vicepresidente de Políticas y Respuesta Humanitaria, Save the Children E.U.), María Josefina Menendez (CEO, Save the Children México), Roy Caple Hernández (Encargado del Consejo, Save the Children México), le platicaron al Embajador con respecto al invaluable trabajo que hace su organización en México. Durante la reunión, el Embajador notó que Save the Children México y la Embajada de los E.U. comparten objetivos en común para mejorar el futuro de la juventud de México. Expresó su esperanza de que la Embajada pudiera encontrar formas de colaborar para apoyar las valiosas acciones humanitarias de Save the Children, que ayuda a cientos de miles de niños mexicanos cada año. |
