עברית: טרפדות מדגם יגואר בצי גרמניה English: The german fast attack crafts Kranich and Elster of Type 140 Jaguar class as Part of the 5. SG of the German federal Navy. "5. SG" means fast patrol boat squadron 5.
The type of boats is an evolution of the German torpedo boats (E boats) of World War II. Sa'ar 3 class ("Cherbourg") is a class of missile boats built in Cherbourg, France at the Amiot Shipyard based on Israeli Navy modification of the German Navy's Jaguar class fast attack craft.
Deutsch: Die Schnellboote Kranich (vorne) und Elster (hinten) der Jaguar-Klasse (Marinebezeichnung: Klasse 140). Die Boote waren Teil des 5. Schnellbootgeschwaders ("5. SG") der deutschen Bundesmarine.
Die Jaguar-Klasse war eine Weiterentwicklung der Schnellboote des zweiten Weltkrieges. Die israelische "Sa'ar 3 Klasse" ist eine Modifikation der Jaguar-Klasse, die in Fankreich gebaut und in Israel ausgerüstet wurde. |
