English: Eloy Gonzalez is a singer-songwriter based out of Dallas, Texas. Born, Eloy (ee-loy) Gonzalez in Midland, Texas in 1988. Eloy was influenced by artists such as Marvin Gaye and Nirvana to Buck Owen and Loretta Lynn at an early age. After discovering punk rock and indie rock bands, like blink 182 and Texas is the reason, at age 11, was given a bass guitar from his parents who had little money but found a way to finance a bass. At age 15 he bought a used Ibanez acoustic guitar that would begin a new direction with songwriting. In college, at Texas Tech University in the fall of 2007, he started a band with childhood friends who also attended the same college. They, The Early Birds, performed classic rock and pop covers at local fraternity party functions and other private events. It was during this period, Eloy began to take music more seriously. After his 2nd year at University, Eloy moved to Austin to pursue a career in music. He took an opportunity to play bass guitar for the band, The Vanity. Eloy has since released his first body of work entitled, Day by Day. This album describes Eloy's journey and battle through alcoholism, addiction, and torn relationships.
