Time in developer, and developer used: Seven (7) minutesin water, 32 oz.; soda sulphite, 12 dr.; hydrochinone, 2 dr.; edinol, 75gr.; potassium bromide, 90 gr.; potassium carbonate, 2 oz. Comment: Had an intensifying screen not been used, the time ofexposure would have been about ten (10) seconds. To make the negative of the radiograph shownTig. 112. in Fig. 112 the conditions were as follows: I. Machine used: Scheidel-Western, portablehigh-frequency, 6-inch coil, operating on 104-volt A. (In my limited ex-perience I have found that the tube-regulating spark gap must be longerfor high-frequency tubes to obtain the same condition of vacuum.) Tubebacks up 6 inches of parallel spark.
