Description
Deutsch: Die Fähre Tanja verkehrt auf der Elbe in Niedersachsen, Deutschland, bei Stromkilometer 536,5 zwischen Neu Darchau und Darchau. Sie wurde 1959 in den Niederlanden gebaut, unter dem Namen Waal in Dienst gestellt und verkehrte bis 1974 zwischen Tiel und Wamel. Von 1974 bis 1993 verband sie als Wijkse Veer Rijswijk und Wijk bij Duurstede. Seit 1993 trägt das Schiff den Namen Tanja. Es ist 45,9 m lang, 12,1 m breit und hat einen Tiefgang von 0,7 m. Die Fähre hat eine Tragfähigkeit von 140 t und kann bis zu 200 Personen oder 21 Fahrzeuge transportieren. Das höchste Einzelgewicht, das transportiert werden kann, beträgt 40 t.
