English: Railway carriage of George V of Hanover.
Deutsch: Diesen hannoverschen Eisenbahnsalonwagen für Georg V. hatte Eduard J. H. Witte für Georg V. im Jahr 1853 entworfen und in dem Aquarell dokumentiert. Königin Marie bewahrte das Blatt in ihrem Album auf. Der dreiachsige Eisenbahnsalonwagen erinnert im Aussehen an die königliche Staatskutsche. Der bauchige Mittelteil ähnelte einer Berline, die Wände waren mit Wappen, Orden und Initialen bemalt, und die Königskrone schmückte das Dach. |
