Description
English: Honor shield of "The Capital of the Movement" ( Hauptstadt der Bewegung), a Nazi propaganda term for the city of Munich, which in the 1920s had developed into the center for the rise of the National Socialist movement of Adolf Hitler. Munich City Museum (Münchner Stadtmuseum), Germany 2014.
Deutsch: Ehrenschild der Hauptstadt der Bewegung; Hauptstadt der Bewegung ist ein nationalsozialistischer Propagandabegriff für die Stadt München, die sich in den 1920er Jahren zum Zentrum für den Aufstieg der nationalsozialistischen Bewegung Adolf Hitlers entwickelt hatte. „Bewegung“ ist laut Victor Klemperer so sehr das „Wesen des Nazismus“, dass Die Bewegung sogar zu seiner Selbstbezeichnung wurde.
