Summary

Description
English: St Garmon's church, Castle Caereinion, near to Castle Caereinion, Powys, Great Britain.

This church was entirely rebuilt in 1866 and there is no definite evidence as to when the first church was built here. It seems to have been built in the bailey of the castle, the remains of the motte, built in 1156 by Madoc ap Mareddud, still exists in the northern part of the churchyard.

The red brick building in the foreground is the old school.
