Voorzijde: kop van een klassicistische vrouw naar links, met opgestoken haar, uitlopend in een olifantenkop, met op haar hoofd een kleine kroon; hieronder een (antiek) roer met vis en embleem VOC, waaromheen geslingerd een lauwertak; met omschrift, gemerkt. Keerzijde: opschrift binnen lauwerkrans. Met dikke, licht opstaande rand. In opdracht van VOC vervaardigd als eerbetoon aan vice-admiraal De Suffren voor door hem bewezen diensten tijdens de Vierde Engelse Oorlog (1780-1784), in het bijzonder bij Kaap de Goede Hoop en voor de kusten van Ceylon (Trincomali) en India.
