| Description | The Edgar H. McChesney House in the Glen Ellyn Main Street Historic District (1885). McChesney was a second-generation merchant, working with his brother. He was also elected Glen Ellyn postmaster in 1892, serving until 1896. He later served as Village President 1905-1909 and was the first Fire Marshall in town. |
