Summary[edit]

Description According to many enthusiasts, Eddystone had the most beautiful design in short wave communication receivers in its time. Eddystone was a British company with a very long and illustrious history in the field of electronics. Many of its models were aimed at the professional market, particularly the navy, where the brand always enjoyed a great reputation. The model 940 was one of the last tube receivers made by Eddystone. It targeted the high-heeled Amateur Radio market and it remained in production until about the end of the 1960s. One characteristic of the 940 is fantastic audio, as a result of the use of a push pull in the output
