العربية: رسم مُعامل جيني. يُمكن اعتبار المحور الأُفقي نسبة الأشخاص والمحور العمودي نسبة الدخل الذي يتلقاه هؤلاء الأشخاص. لِهذا الشبب فإنَّ مُنحنى لورنز دائمًا ما يبدأ وينتهي في ذات المواضع، حيثُ يكون 0% من الأشخاص يُنتجون 0% من المدخول القومي، و100% منهم يُنتجون 100% من الدخل القومي الإجمالي لِلبلاد. يُشارُ إلى اللامُساواة عندما يكونُ المُنحنى أسفل خط الخمس وأربعين درجة: على اليسار، تكون نسبة الأشخاص أعلى من نسبة المدخول الذي يُحصلونه (مثلًا 10% من الشعب يتحصلون على 5% من المدخول القومي)؛ وعلى اليمين، ترتفعُ نسبة المدخول بشكلٍ يفوق نسبة الأشخاص الذين يُحصلونه.
